Experiencing the Inner Journey often creates a connection among participants that they wish to maintain and build on in support of their process. To that end, the community holds regular social events - everything from summer barbeques to New Year's Eve parties. Graduates may also volunteer to assist with the various programs, Introductory Workshops, and committees. In addition we hold monthly "Tune Ups" on Sunday mornings in Ottawa, enabling graduates to practice the tools they learn at the Inner Journey.
Inner Journey Tune-Ups are held monthly, each year from September to
the following June. These events are usually facilitated by the Ottawa Area Facilitators and Facilitator Trainees who each brings his or her own particular flavour to the event. The Tune-Ups engage the participants with a variety of topics and employ an assortment of different formats, all based on IJ principles and practices. They are an opportunity for graduates to get back in touch with their Inner Journey Seminar experience and to reconnect with the IJ Community. Guests are welcome and the Tune-Ups are a great way to introduce friends and loved ones to the Inner Journey work. There is no charge. Participants are encouraged to make a donation to the Bursary Fund. |
