Join us for an extraordinary learning experience!  This training is for anyone who longs to develop an ability to connect more deeply and to be more effective with people in their work.  Participants will develop the ability to integrate the group and individual skills that are utilized in the Inner Journey Seminar into their work as counselors, coaches, teachers, nurses, leaders, human resources personnel, managers, and salespeople.

This program is designed to train individuals in the facilitation of individual and group work. Participants will learn the integrated spiritual, philosophical, and psychological work of the Inner Journey Seminar. The training teaches a powerful combination of skills and techniques with the potential for tremendous inner growth and transformation.

The word “facilitate” indicates the direction of the work: “to render easy; to lighten; to clear; to free; to disentangle.” Facilitating this work requires the trainee to be clear themselves; therefore this session will include a strong component of personal transformation as well as facilitator skills development.

Because learning the “Art of Facilitation” happens best by observing and practicing with a mentor, there will be significant opportunities for one-on-one coaching. What makes this training unique is the spiritual perspective of the work. In this context ‘spiritual’ means a way of working with people that begins with the social and psychological levels and leads to a transpersonal level.

The Inner Journey approach often starts with psychological, emotional, and mental work and leads to deep inner spiritual work, to a “non-denominational religiousness.”  To be a ‘facilitator’ in this context is a special privilege and gift that requires the trainee to walk her/his own path of transformation.

The Program

The training will provide both the theoretical understanding and hands-on experience that will highlight certain techniques of facilitating. The first aspect of the training is of a more technical nature.

The second aspect is the ‘Art of Facilitation’ and is more challenging to teach and learn because the trainees own inner ‘state of being’ becomes the means of facilitation.

One cannot take anyone beyond where one has gone him/herself before.

  • Theory:  psychological, philosophical, and spiritual models and concepts
  • Practice:  individual work with the facilitator and supervised individual and group practice
  • Meditation Techniques
  • Relaxation Techniques
  • Inquiry Techniques
  • Body oriented therapy
